Return Policy - Satisfaction Guaranteed & Hassle Free

We have established the following return policy in order to continue to provide you with the lowest prices possible. This policy is both fair and consistent with ethical and standard practices in the pool industry.

At Salt Pool Store we do not sell used or refurbished items, and therefore returned products that are used and/or installed cannot be resold.

Wrong product shipped:
If Salt Pool Store ships you the wrong product by our mistake please contact us as soon as possible.
If the wrong product was ordered, the customer accepts responsibility and must contact us if they would send back an item.
Salt Pool Store takes pride in assisting customers pre purchase via Live Chat and Email, but ultimately we have no way of knowing your exact system or application thoroughly and it is the responsibility of the customer to check their system and equipment and call the manufacturer if more technical assistance is needed before a purchase.
It is also the responsibility of the customer to check the receipt that is immediately emailed for any possible issues or errors so they can be corrected before the order is processed and shipped. 

 

Products damaged in transit:
While it's unfortunate, products are damaged by the delivery carrier from time to time. You must inspect the item(s) by opening the boxes to check for concealed freight damage. It is highly recommended that you remove the wrapping and/or box and inspect the product for hidden damage.

Please contact us via email with the subject line " Damaged In Transit : - with also your order number ) and also a photo of the damaged item. 

 

Products believed to be defective or incompatible:

As it is not possible for Salt Pool Store to have full knowledge or complete details of your pool system, we cannot accept responsibility for merchandise that is not compatible or does not function with your existing system. We always recommend that the buyer contact the manufacturer directly or follow any troubleshooting guides available. 

Buyer assumes all responsibility without exception, We apologize, but this is due to the huge variety and complexity of pool systems and pool products. We have found that in the majority of cases where a product does not work as desired, it is not due to a product defect, but rather the wrong product, or a problem with the buyer's system or setting on their system. In the event that you feel your purchase is defective, it is incumbent upon you to contact us directly for resolution before attempting to return the product in question.

We have technical support via email and are warranty agents and will be more than happy to assist you in making sure that your product is functioning properly as per manufacturer instructions, and if not, will take steps to see that any defect is handled quickly. 

 

Warranty information:
All products sold by Salt Pool Store carry a manufacturer warranty. If you feel you have a defective product after 30 days you would need to make a warranty claim you need to fill in the warranty form to process a claim.
 
Return window:

Order must be less than 60 days old in order to be returnable. Return window starts at the date of purchase. 

 

Return method:
Once our warehouse receives and verifies that the item is in new and saleable condition, a refund will be processed. This process is usually complete within three business days of its arrival back to us. We issue refunds as store credit, which can be used within 365 days from the date of issuance. To access and view your store credit amount, please log into your account on our website. This store credit can be applied to any future purchases, offering you flexibility and convenience for your shopping needs.

All returns and cancellations are subject to a restock or processing fee.

Responsibility for return shipping costs:
Customer is responsible for paying return shipping costs.
 

Under 30 Days - Still New  

Your order was received less than 30 days ago and is in the same brand new unused and uninstalled condition you received it in. You have the original box, manuals, warranty card, other paperwork, and every part and piece that came with it originally.

Your return will be accepted and will be charged a 20% restocking fee (Minimum of $25) and you are responsible for our shipping cost to get the product to you originally and the shipping cost to get it back to our warehouse.

 

Under 30 Days ( Used ) 

Your order was received less than 30 days ago and you used the product a few times or tried to install it, but you have the original box, manuals, warranty card, other paperwork, and every part and piece that came with it originally.

No Problem! Your return will be accepted and will be charged a 30% restocking fee (Minimum of $10) and you are responsible for our shipping cost to get the product to you originally and the shipping cost to get it back to our warehouse.

 

Past 30 Days / Under 60 Days  ( Like New )

Your order was received more than 30 days But under 60 Days ago and is in the same brand new resellable condition you received it in. You have the original box, manuals, warranty card, other paperwork, and every part and piece that came with it originally.

We can still accept your return, but you will be charged a 30% restocking fee (Minimum of $25) and will be responsible for our shipping cost to get the product to you originally and the shipping cost to get it back to our warehouse.

 

Past 30 Days / Under 60 Days  ( USED ) 

Your order was received more than 30 days ago and you used the product a few times or tried to install it But still looks New.

We can still accept your return, but you will be charged a 50% restocking fee (Minimum of $25) and will be responsible for our shipping cost to get the product to you originally and the shipping cost to get it back to our warehouse.

 

Delivery Refusal charges:  

We reserve the right to charge a 30% processing and restocking fee ($25 minimum), original shipping, return shipping, and any other applicable refusal charges on products that would have qualified for a return. Products that would not have qualified will not be credited.

 

Cancelling an order:
We pride ourselves on quickly processing and shipping orders, therefore we cannot guarantee cancellation. If you wish to cancel an order, please email us and include your order number and "cancel" in the subject line, this will route your email to the correct team. Note: your order has not been cancelled unless you receive an email from us confirming cancellation.
If a tracking has been allocated and by chance we can get this back then a stocking fee of 15% will apply for repacking and fees as a label was already placed on a new item for your order.
If Item has not yet been dispatched a Fee of $25 will apply for cancellations.
 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
